Configuring APN Settings for Pelion SIM

1. Once SIM is installed, tap the Windows icon, then the Settings icon.

2. Then, tap on the “Network & Internet” menu.

3. In this menu, tap the Cellular menu in the sidebar. Check the box next to “Let Windows keep me connected. Select “Roam” from the “Data Roaming Options” dropdown, then tap “Advanced options”.

4. In this menu, scroll down then tap the + icon next to “Add an APN”.

5. Fill out the fields with information provided in the screenshot (Password is void: all lower-case.

6. Scroll down to the bottom of the menu, check the box next to “Apply this profile”, then select “Save”.

5. In Cellular settings, select your SIM profile.
6. Select “Connect”
7. Enable “Let Windows keep me connected”
8. Turn on Data Roaming if required (may incur charges).

 

Internet status and cellular status will show after several minutes. It may take up to 10 minutes before the connection is established. 

*Pelion SIM card is a global sim card which means it is trying to connect to the nearest tower with the strongest signal.
